Advanced Training: Received from Sri. Renjith Babu, a disciple of C.V. Chandrasekar, in the Kalashetra style.

Performances: Extensive performances across India, the USA, and Canada.

Founder: Established KalaAlaya School of Dance in Seattle in 2016.

Teaching: Nurtures aspiring dancers with creative choreography and a commitment to teaching since 2009.

Experience: Over three decades in Bharatanatyam, inspiring and shaping the next generation of dancers.

Veena Girish
Vocal

Formal Training: Received training in Carnatic music from Vid. DV Nagarajan in Bangalore; currently under Vid. Ganesh Rajagopalan.

Education: Holds an undergraduate degree in Dentistry.

Performances: Participated in various platforms like Margazhi Uthsavam, Thyagaraja, Purandara Dasa Aradhana, and Annamacharya Jayanthi.

Vocals for Bharatanatyam: Provides vocals for Bharatanatyam arangetrams.

Teaching: Teaches Carnatic music.

Sai Kishore
Flute

Early Training: Began learning flute at a very young age under the tutelage of Trichy J. Venkatraman.

Performances: Featured on various Indian Television channels and All India Radio. Has performed across several stages in India & USA.

Collaborations: Accompanied eminent Indian musicians such as K. Yesudas and K.S. Chitra.

Awards & Accolades: Recipient of numerous awards and recognitions.

Professional Life: Mechanical design engineer based in Atlanta, GA.

Shreyas Ramaswami
Mridangam

Guru: Disciple of Sri. Ravindra Bharathy Sridharan, founder of Nadhopasana Academy of Fine Arts, for 16 years.

Mridangam Arangetram: Completed in 2014, accompanying Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri Neyveli Santhanagopalan.

Award: Recipient of the prestigious Alliance for California Traditional Arts Apprenticeship with his Guru.

Performances: Frequent concert performer, accompanies vocalists, music, and dance schools in the Bay Area and other US cities. Has performed at the Chennai Music Season for several years.

Education: Graduate of Santa Clara University.

Profession: Works in Finance at Meta.

Aparajitha Sethuraman
Veenai

Education: Rising Senior at Redmond High School

Veena Training: Began at age 8 under Smt. Ramamani in Chennai. Currently learning under Vainika Chakravarthy Shri D. Srinivas from Hyderabad

Performances & Competitions: Competed in various shows and competitions in veena and Carnatic vocal. Veena performer for Rhythms Studio shows. Consistent performer in “Vipanchika Mahotsav” by Shanmuga Priya Foundation. Part of the live orchestra for arangetrams.
