Kayal Kamalraj, a rising freshman at Eastlake High School, has embarked on an inspiring journey in Bharatanatyam. Trained under Smt. Preetha Anandh for approximately ten years, she has developed a deep connection with this beautiful art form. Her initial exposure to Bharatanatyam came from observing her older cousins, Nivetha and Samyuktha Jaganathan, during their classes at Smt. Preetha’s house. Beyond dance, Kayal enjoys spending time with loved ones, listening to music, and immersing herself in novels. As she continues to hone her skills, the thrill of mastering complex and faster steps fuels her passion for Bharatanatyam.
